IIM Kozhikode Executive MBA (EPGP): Fees, Eligibility, Admission and Placements
Key takeaways
- IIMK EPGP is a two-year executive MBA that awards a Master of Business Administration; EPGP-19 (2026–28) costs ₹16,87,000 including additional fees.
- Classes are taught live from IIMK’s studio and attended at TimesPro classroom centres, not from home, plus three mandatory six-day campus modules.
- There are no placements; it suits managers with 3+ years’ post-graduation experience seeking promotion in their current role and track.
Half the country searches for it as “IIM Calicut”. The other half types “IIM Kozhikode online MBA”. Both are looking for the same thing: a two-year IIM MBA you can do without quitting your job, taught live from a studio in Kerala.
The catch sits in the fine print. You don’t log in from your sofa. You go to a classroom centre.
The IIM Kozhikode Executive MBA (EPGP) is a two-year programme for working professionals. It awards a Master of Business Administration. Classes are taught live from IIMK’s studio and attended at TimesPro classroom centres across India, with three six-day modules on the Kozhikode campus. The 2026–28 batch (EPGP-19) fee is ₹16,75,000 plus ₹12,000 in additional fees. You need 50% in graduation and three years of work experience after graduating.

Who the IIMK EPGP Is For
IIMK’s FAQ is blunt about it. The programme is “meant for those executives in their middle / senior management positions” and “is supposed to help working executives in their current work roles and career progression paths.” It is not a job-switch launchpad.
The latest batch shows who actually signs up. According to Careers360’s report on EPGP-18 (December 2025), the batch had 683 participants across 67 learning centres. Nearly 29% were women.
| EPGP-18 profile | Share |
|---|---|
| Age 24–29 | 39% |
| Age 30–39 | Nearly half |
| Age over 40 | 11% |
| 3–5 years’ experience | 25% |
| 6–9 years’ experience | 41% |
| 10–15 years’ experience | 25% |
| 16+ years’ experience | About 8% |
| Largest sector | IT (29%), then consulting (10%) |
IIMK director Debashis Chatterjee told Careers360 that “the EPGP–18 cohort reflects the changing face of Indian leadership.” In plain terms: an IT-heavy class in its late twenties to thirties. That is roughly 680 people in one batch. It’s a big class. If you are in tech, the executive MBA options for engineers and IT professionals sets IIMK against the rest of the field.
Good fit: a team lead or manager in IT, banking, consulting or a PSU who wants an IIM MBA on the CV without losing two years of salary, and who lives near a classroom centre.
Who this is not for
- Career switchers who need placements. There is no placement process. Look at a one-year full-time MBA with a placement cell instead (see EMBA vs one-year MBA).
- Anyone under 3 years of post-graduation experience. The 1,095-day rule is strict, and pre-graduation work and internships don’t count.
- People without a classroom centre nearby. You cannot attend from home or office, and you cannot attend from outside India.
- Anyone who can’t take 18 days of campus leave over two years. All three six-day modules are mandatory.
- Weekend-protective parents and frequent travellers. Year one alone is about 12 hours of class a week, mostly on weekends.
IIMK EPGP Fees 2026–28
The total for EPGP-19 is ₹16,87,000: ₹16,75,000 programme fee plus ₹12,000 in additional fees. If you have seen “₹16.87 lakh” on aggregator sites, that is where the number comes from. Fees rose from ₹15,95,000 for EPGP-18. IIMK’s admission policy has no GST line on the fee.
| Instalment | Amount | Additional fee | Due |
|---|---|---|---|
| Offer acceptance (part of 1st) | ₹1,00,000 | — | As per offer letter |
| 1st (balance) | ₹1,65,000 | ₹2,000 Student Welfare Fund | October/November 2026 |
| 2nd | ₹2,35,000 | — | February 2027 |
| 3rd | ₹2,35,000 | — | May 2027 |
| 4th | ₹2,35,000 | — | August 2027 |
| 5th | ₹2,35,000 | ₹10,000 Alumni Fee | December 2027 |
| 6th | ₹2,35,000 | — | April 2028 |
| 7th | ₹2,35,000 | — | August 2028 |
| Total | ₹16,75,000 | ₹12,000 |
The fee doesn’t cover travel and accommodation for the three campus visits. It also excludes the optional international immersion. Budget for both. IIMK says participants arrange their own education loans from any bank, and the institute will provide supporting documents on request. Lender options are covered in EMBA scholarships, loans and EMI, and the instalment detail lives on the IIMK EPGP fees page.

IIMK EPGP Eligibility and Selection
- Degree: a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Women need 45%, and SC, ST and PwD candidates need 40%.
- Alternative: without a recognised bachelor’s degree, 50% in CA, ICWA or CS is accepted.
- Not accepted: diplomas after 10+2. Postgraduate marks also don’t make up for a shortfall in graduation marks.
- Work experience: 3 full years (1,095 days) of managerial, entrepreneurial or professional experience after graduation, counted to the closing date of the phase you apply in. Experience before graduation and internships do not count.
The process has three stages: an eligibility shortlist, then EMAT, then a personal interview. Both the test and the interview are online. The merit list weights the test 40% and the interview 60%.
| Route | Cut-off (General) |
|---|---|
| EMAT (IIMK’s logical, numerical, verbal test) | 35% of total marks (30% OBC-NC/EWS/women; 25% SC; 20% ST/PwD) |
| CAT in place of EMAT | 75 percentile, score not older than 3 years |
| GMAT in place of EMAT | 700 |
| GRE in place of EMAT | Verbal 151, Quant 152, AWA 3.5 |
| Personal interview | 25% of standardised marks (lower for reserved categories) |
There are also ten seats for applicants with distinguished national or international achievement in sports, arts, leadership, entrepreneurship or community service, decided by profile review and interview. How EMAT compares with other institute tests is in EMBA entrance tests and scores; the full rules are on the IIMK EPGP eligibility page.
IIMK EPGP Time Commitment: Class Hours, Campus Modules, Exams
This is where “IIM Kozhikode online MBA” searchers need to pay attention. Faculty teach live from the interactive learning studio on the Kozhikode campus. But IIMK’s FAQ says you can attend “only from designated classroom centres across India managed by M/s Times Pro.” Home and office attendance is not allowed. IIMK keeps the right to switch to direct-to-device classes “if the situation warrants.” The programme can’t be taken from outside India.
| Period | Class days and times | Live hours per week |
|---|---|---|
| Year 1, weekend format | Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 12 |
| Year 1, combined format | Thursday and Saturday, 7:00 PM – 9:45 PM; Sunday, 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM | 11.5 |
| Year 2 | Weekdays 7:00 PM – 9:45 PM, plus Saturdays and Sundays, depending on electives | Varies with electives |
| Time cost | What IIMK states |
|---|---|
| Contact hours | 750+ over two years |
| Campus modules | 3 × 6 days = 18 days at Kozhikode, all mandatory: start of year one, start of year two, end of year two |
| First module (EPGP-19) | Window of 10–21 December 2026, with registration dates of 10 and 15 December |
| Assessment | End-term examination after each quarter, plus quizzes, assignments and projects; IIMK lists “examinations (both conventional and technology-based)” |
| Attendance minimum | Not published by IIMK; ask the programme office before you accept |
| Break | “Participants can take a temporary break and rejoin, subject to programme rules” |
Those hours are before reading and assignments. Add the commute to your centre, twice a weekend. If the nearest centre is 90 minutes away, you’ll spend about six extra hours a week on the road. Check the centre list before you pay the application fee. And plan three blocks of leave with your manager, plus travel days, before you accept the offer.
What TimesPro does, and what it doesn’t
IIMK says its executive programmes “are designed by IIMK and the classes are offered by faculty members from interactive learning studio present at IIMK Campus,” and are “currently delivered through the technology platform of Times Professional Learning.” The admission page lists TimesPro as the “Technology & Infrastructure Service Provider”, and its FAQ says the classroom centres are managed by TimesPro. So TimesPro runs the centres, the platform and an admissions helpline. IIMK designs the course, teaches it, examines you and awards the degree. How other IIMs split the work with partners is in IIM online and blended MBAs.
IIMK EPGP Curriculum
The programme is built in two halves. Year one is all core courses. In year two you choose electives through a live bidding process.
| Phase | Structure | Credits / hours |
|---|---|---|
| Year 1 | Four quarters of compulsory core courses | 38 credits (380 hours) |
| Year 2 | Three quarters of electives, allocated by real-time bidding | 28 credits (280 hours) |
| Campus modules | Case-based learning, analytical foundations, contemporary management issues | Three six-day modules |
| International immersion | One week at a university abroad, after the third campus module; optional and non-credit | Cost not included in fee |
Every course is graded. This is a degree with exams, not an attendance certificate. EPGP graduates who hold the MBA can also apply to IIMK’s doctoral programmes, including the PhD (Practice Track), according to the institute’s FAQ.
IIMK EPGP Admission Dates 2026
The 2026 cycle ran in four phases. All have closed, and EPGP-19 begins in December 2026.
| Phase | Apply by | EMAT | Interviews | Offers by | First instalment |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| I | 15 May 2026 | 17 & 29 May | 6, 13, 14 June | 30 June | 10 October 2026 |
| II | 12 July 2026 | 19 & 23 July | 25 July, 1 & 2 August | 17 August | 28 October 2026 |
| III | 17 August 2026 | 6 & 10 September | 12, 19, 20 September | 1 October | 10 November 2026 |
| IV | 30 September 2026 | 4 & 10 October | 10 & 11 October | 20 October | 20 November 2026 |
The 2026 cycle opened Phase I applications on 16 March. If IIMK follows the same pattern for EPGP-20, applications would open around March 2027. That is an inference from this year’s calendar, not an announced date. Apply in an early phase: offer acceptance means paying ₹1,00,000 within about ten days. Track it on the IIMK EPGP admission dates page.
Is IIMK EPGP Worth It? ROI by Experience
IIMK does not publish salary outcomes for the EPGP, so there is no official uplift figure to quote. What you can measure is the price against your own pay. The table expresses the all-in cost as months of gross salary at three typical points, and shows the raise you’d need to break even in five years.
| Your experience | Salary (assumed) | Fee ₹16,87,000 as months of salary | All-in ₹17,64,000 as months of salary | Pre-tax raise to break even in 5 years |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4–6 years | ₹15 LPA (₹1,25,000/month) | 13.5 months | 14.1 months | ₹5,04,000 a year (+34%) |
| 8–12 years | ₹25 LPA (₹2,08,333/month) | 8.1 months | 8.5 months | ₹5,04,000 a year (+20%) |
| 15+ years | ₹40 LPA (₹3,33,333/month) | 5.1 months | 5.3 months | ₹5,04,000 a year (+13%) |
Assumptions: salaries are illustrative, not IIMK data. All-in cost adds the ₹2,000 application fee and ₹75,000 for three campus trips (assumed ₹25,000 each). Break-even: ₹17,64,000 ÷ 5 = ₹3,52,800 a year after tax, which is ₹5,04,000 before tax at a 30% slab. Plug in your own numbers in the EMBA ROI calculator sheet, or grab it from our free EMBA tools.
Read it by band. At 4–6 years, the EPGP costs more than a year of your pay, and you’d need a one-third raise just to stand still over five years. That only works if the MBA is the filter between you and a manager role. At 8–12 years, the core of the EPGP-18 batch, it’s about eight months of salary and pays off with one real promotion. At 15+ years, the money is the easy part; the question is whether the IIMK name adds anything your CV doesn’t already say. See the EMBA picks for mid-career managers and for early-career professionals.
Raise vs promotion: a worked example
| Line | Scenario A: annual raise | Scenario B: promotion |
|---|---|---|
| Total cost (fees + application + assumed travel) | ₹17,64,000 | ₹17,64,000 |
| Salary before (assumed) | ₹15,00,000 | ₹15,00,000 |
| Salary after (assumed) | ₹18,00,000 (+₹3,00,000) | ₹22,00,000 (+₹7,00,000) |
| Post-tax gain at 30% slab | ₹2,10,000/yr = ₹17,500/month | ₹4,90,000/yr = ₹40,833/month |
| Payback (₹17,64,000 ÷ monthly gain) | ~101 months | ~43 months |
| 5-year net gain (5 × annual gain − cost) | ₹10,50,000 − ₹17,64,000 = −₹7,14,000 | ₹24,50,000 − ₹17,64,000 = +₹6,86,000 |
A routine raise will not pay back ₹17.6 lakh in any reasonable time. The degree pays off only if it unlocks a role change, a promotion, or a move your employer was blocking for lack of an MBA. The upside of the executive format is that your salary keeps coming. A full-time MBA would cost you two years of pay as well; see executive MBA vs regular MBA.
IIMK EPGP Placements and Alumni Status
There are no placements. IIMK’s FAQ states that “a formal placement assistance scheme is not part of this programme.” There is no placement report because there is no placement process.
On alumni status, the condition is plain: “Upon successful completion of the programme, participant will be an alumnus of IIM Kozhikode.” The ₹10,000 alumni fee is built into the 5th instalment. IIMK cites a network of 15,000+ alumni.
What you do get:
- A Master of Business Administration from IIM Kozhikode, not a diploma or certificate.
- IIM Kozhikode alumni status on successful completion.
- AMBA membership: IIMK states that participants and alumni of the two-year programme are eligible for free AMBA membership indefinitely.
- A path to a doctorate: EPGP MBA holders can apply to IIMK’s PhD programmes.
How that compares with the alternatives on this page:
| Programme | Placement support (institute’s words) | Alumni status | Source, as of |
|---|---|---|---|
| IIMK EPGP (IL) | No: “a formal placement assistance scheme is not part of this programme” | Yes, “upon successful completion of the programme” | IIMK EPGP FAQ, Oct 2026 |
| IIMK EPGP Kochi | No: Career Guidance Cell for CV positioning and expert conversations; IIMK says it will not provide placement support or hold job fairs | Not published | IIMK Kochi Career Guidance Cell page, Oct 2026 |
| IIMK PGP-BL (1-year, full-time) | Yes: IIMK facilitates final placements | Not published | IIMK PGP-BL page, Oct 2026 |
| IIM Amritsar EMBA | Limited: “limited placement assistance on a case to case basis through our corporate partners” | Yes, “after successful completion of the program” | IIM Amritsar EMBA FAQ, Oct 2026 |
| IIMV EMBA | Not stated on the EMBA pages checked | Not stated on the EMBA pages checked | IIMV EMBA pages, Oct 2026 |
The broader picture is in EMBA degree type, recognition and alumni status.
IIMK EPGP vs IIMK Kochi EPGP vs IIMK PGP-BL
IIMK runs three programmes that get mixed up in search results. The “IIM Kozhikode EPGP Kochi” and “IIM Kozhikode 1 year MBA” queries point to the other two.
| Programme | Duration | Format | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| EPGP (IL – Kozhikode) | 2 years | Live from IIMK studio at TimesPro centres nationwide; three 6-day campus modules | Professionals anywhere in India |
| MBA for Working Executives (Kochi Campus) | 2 years | Evening cohort online (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, 7:00–9:45 PM); weekend cohort face-to-face at the Kochi campus (Sat 4:00–9:45 PM, Sun 9:00 AM–3:30 PM); annual immersion at Kozhikode | People living in or near Kochi who want in-person classes |
| PGP in Business Leadership (PGP-BL) | 1 year | Residential at Kozhikode, in-campus accommodation | 4+ years’ experience, willing to quit work; IIMK facilitates final placements |
The Kochi programme also awards an MBA. Its fees are published separately on the Kochi campus pages, so confirm the current figure there. The PGP-BL page lists a programme fee of ₹22,50,000, with mess charges extra, and requires 4 years of work experience and a GMAT, GRE or CAT score. That one is a 1-year full-time MBA, not an executive MBA. IIMK’s shorter options are on IIMK executive education and certificates.
IIMK EPGP vs IIMV EMBA vs IIM Amritsar EMBA vs IIM Indore MMS
IIMK is the most expensive of these four programmes. It is also the only one that ties you to a physical classroom centre.
| IIMK EPGP | IIMV EMBA | IIM Amritsar EMBA | IIM Indore MMS | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Award | Master of Business Administration | MBA (“eligible for the award of MBA” on completing 74 credits) | Two-year degree programme under the IIM Act 2017 | Master of Management Studies |
| Format | Live IL at TimesPro classroom centres | Blended IL; weekend sessions | Hybrid; live virtual classes on weekends | Live online from your own desktop/laptop; weekends + one Wednesday evening (Year 1) |
| Duration | 2 years, 750+ hours | 2 years, 6 trimesters, 740 hours | 2 years, 750 hours | 2 years, ~900 hours |
| Total fee (batch, GST) | ₹16,75,000 + ₹12,000 (EPGP-19, 2026–28; no GST line) | ₹11,90,000 (winter batch 2026–28; no GST line) | ₹12,00,000 (batch year not named) | ₹14,00,000 (Batch 04, 2027–29) |
| Min work-ex | 3 years post-graduation | 3 years, officer/executive level | 3 years | 2 years |
| Test accepted | EMAT / CAT / GRE / GMAT + PI | EMAT (CAT/GRE/GMAT exemption) + PI | CAT / GMAT / GRE / GATE or IAAT + PI | See official brochure |
| Placement support | No | Not published | Limited, case by case | Not published |
| Campus visits | 3 modules × 6 days | 30 in-campus hours per year | 5-day campus visits (count stated inconsistently on official pages) | 3 modules, 16 days total |
| Alumni status | On successful completion | Not published | On successful completion | Not published |
| Source, as of | IIMK admission policy + FAQ, Oct 2026 | IIMV fee, details and FAQ pages, Oct 2026 | IIM Amritsar fee, about and FAQ pages, Oct 2026 | IIM Indore MMS brochure (Batch 04), Oct 2026 |
The ₹4.75–4.85 lakh premium over Vizag and Amritsar buys you the IIMK brand, an older programme (IIMK has run interactive learning since 2001) and a large alumni base. IIM Indore’s MMS costs ₹2.75 lakh less, needs only two years of experience and lets you attend from your laptop. For anyone without a convenient centre nearby, that alone may settle the question. Fees side by side: IIMV EMBA fees and IIM Amritsar EMBA fees. For more head-to-heads, see executive MBA comparisons.
The Desk’s take: IIMK’s EPGP is a solid, well-run IIM MBA for people who want to stay in their job and get past the MBA filter for the next promotion. It is not an online MBA in the way most people mean it. You will sit in a TimesPro centre on weekends for two years, and that centre’s distance from your home matters more than any brochure line.
Apply if you have a centre within easy reach, your employer values an IIM MBA for senior roles, and you can manage three six-day leave blocks.
Skip if you need placement support, want to switch industries, or would rather attend from home. IIM Indore’s MMS costs ₹2.75 lakh less and runs on your own device. IIM Visakhapatnam and IIM Amritsar cost about ₹12 lakh.
The catch nobody mentions: with around 680 participants in a batch, this is a national classroom, not an intimate cohort. Your network gets built in the campus modules and inside your section, so show up to both with intent.
Next batch dates, the full fee schedule and the eligibility check are on the programme page. See programme details →
IIMK EPGP FAQs
I got the IIMK EPGP admit. Is it worth it?
It is worth it if the MBA unlocks something concrete where you work: a manager grade, a promotion that lists an MBA as a requirement, or a move your employer has been blocking. At ₹16,87,000 plus travel, a routine raise won’t pay it back. Run your salary through the ROI table above before you pay the ₹1,00,000 acceptance fee.
Does the IIMK EPGP count like the full-time IIMK MBA?
The award carries the same title: Master of Business Administration from IIM Kozhikode, granted under the IIM Act 2017. It is still a different programme from the two-year full-time MBA, with different admission rules, a classroom-centre format and no placement process. For an internal promotion where “MBA from a recognised institute” is the requirement, the award title is what matters; for campus hiring, there is none.
Is the IIMK EPGP a degree or a certificate?
A degree. IIMK’s FAQ says participants “are awarded ‘Master of Business Administration’ after successful completion of the programme.” It is graded through quarterly end-term exams, quizzes, assignments and projects. IIMK’s separate one-year executive certificate programmes are a different product.
Is IIMK EPGP an online MBA? What does classroom-centre delivery involve?
You travel to a TimesPro-managed centre in your city and join a live two-way video class taught from IIMK’s studio. In year one that is about 11.5–12 hours a week, mostly on weekends. You cannot join from home, office or abroad, though IIMK reserves the right to switch to direct-to-device classes if the situation warrants. Add three mandatory six-day campus modules at Kozhikode.
Can I switch domain after the IIMK EPGP?
Not through the institute. IIMK says the programme supports “current work roles and career progression paths,” and there is no placement process. An internal move into a new function is realistic if your employer backs it. If you need an external switch, a one-year full-time MBA with placements is the better fit.
What is IIM Kozhikode EPGP IL?
IL stands for Interactive Learning, the delivery mode IIMK has used for executive education since 2001. Faculty teach live from a studio on the Kozhikode campus, and participants join through two-way audio and video from classroom centres across India. EPGP-IL is the national version; the Kochi campus runs a separate MBA for working executives with a face-to-face weekend cohort.

I have 4 years in IT. Will the IIMK EPGP help me move into product management?
It can help, but the move has to happen inside your company or through your own job search. IIMK says the programme supports “current work roles and career progression paths”, and a formal placement assistance scheme is not part of it. What you get is an IIMK MBA on your CV when you ask for the move, and a class full of people like you: IT was the largest sector in EPGP-18 at 29%. At 4 years you would also sit below the core of the batch, where 41% had 6–9 years. If your employer has a product track and values an MBA, this works. An external switch with no product experience is harder.
Is there an age limit for the IIMK EPGP? I’m 41.
IIMK’s eligibility rules set no upper age limit. They ask for a bachelor’s degree with the required marks and 3 full years (1,095 days) of post-graduation work experience. You would not be alone, either: 11% of the EPGP-18 batch were over 40, and about 8% had 16 or more years of experience. The more useful question at your stage is what the degree unlocks. With 15+ years, the fee is about five months of a ₹40 lakh salary, so money is the easy part. Ask whether an IIMK MBA adds anything your CV doesn’t already say, such as a promotion rule that needs an MBA.
My graduation percentage is below 50%. Can I still apply for IIMK EPGP?
Check your category first. The general cut-off is 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Women need 45%, and SC, ST and PwD candidates need 40%. If you don’t hold a recognised bachelor’s degree, 50% in CA, ICWA or CS is accepted instead. Two things will not help. Postgraduate marks don’t make up for a shortfall in graduation marks, and diplomas after 10+2 are not accepted. If you fall below your category’s cut-off, you won’t clear the eligibility shortlist, whatever your EMAT or CAT score.
Do I need CAT for IIMK EPGP, or is EMAT enough?
EMAT is enough. It is IIMK’s own logical, numerical and verbal test, and the general cut-off is 35% of total marks (30% for OBC-NC, EWS and women; 25% SC; 20% ST and PwD). You can skip EMAT with a CAT score of 75 percentile or more from the last three years, a GMAT of 700, or a GRE of Verbal 151, Quant 152 and AWA 3.5. Whichever route you take, the online interview carries more weight. The merit list counts the test at 40% and the interview at 60%, and you need 25% of standardised interview marks (lower for reserved categories).
Can I pay the IIMK EPGP fee in instalments or with a loan?
Yes to both. The ₹16,75,000 programme fee is split into seven instalments. You pay ₹1,00,000 at offer acceptance, then ₹1,65,000 plus the ₹2,000 Student Welfare Fund in October or November 2026. Six instalments of ₹2,35,000 follow through August 2028, with the ₹10,000 alumni fee added to the December 2027 one. That spread lets most participants pay from salary. If you need a loan, IIMK says you arrange it yourself from any bank, and the institute will provide supporting documents on request. Budget separately for travel and stay on the three campus visits.
I travel a lot for work. What happens if I miss classes or need a break?
Plan for this before you accept. IIMK does not publish an attendance minimum on the pages we checked, so ask the programme office for the rule in writing. Classes run at a fixed TimesPro centre in India, and you cannot join from a hotel, an office or abroad. The three six-day campus modules are all mandatory. Each quarter ends with an end-term examination, plus quizzes and assignments. The one safety valve is IIMK’s break provision: “Participants can take a temporary break and rejoin, subject to programme rules.” If you travel most weekends, that is a sign the format doesn’t suit you.
I have admits from both IIMK EPGP and IIMV EMBA. Which should I join?
Both award an MBA, so decide on cost, format and logistics. IIMV costs ₹11,90,000 for the winter 2026–28 batch. IIMK’s EPGP-19 programme fee is ₹16,75,000 plus ₹12,000 in additional fees, a premium of about ₹4.85 lakh on the programme fee alone. IIMV runs blended weekend sessions with 30 in-campus hours a year. IIMK makes you attend a TimesPro classroom centre and spend 18 days on campus over three modules. Neither offers a placement process: IIMK says so outright, and IIMV’s pages don’t state one. Pay the IIMK premium if the older programme and the 15,000+ alumni base matter where you work, and a centre is close by. Otherwise IIMV is the better-value MBA.
When will applications open for the next IIMK EPGP batch (EPGP-20)?
IIMK hasn’t announced it yet. The 2026 cycle opened Phase I applications on 16 March and ran four phases, with the last closing on 30 September. If the pattern repeats, EPGP-20 applications would open around March 2027, but that is an inference, not an IIMK date. Apply in an early phase if you can. Offers come with about ten days to pay the ₹1,00,000 acceptance fee, and an early phase leaves you more time to arrange leave for the first campus module in December.
